The PEFC-certified wooden folding rules from STABILA’s series 400 and 700 are equipped with an integrated angle schema, enabling frequently used angles to be created and transferred quickly on the building site.
The topic of sustainability is increasingly influencing every aspect of our lives – and demand for sustainable products is growing in the trade and construction industries too. With its series 400, STABILA has become the first manufacturer to switch an entire series of wooden folding rules to sustainable PEFC-certified wood. The rules are produced using specially selected beechwood from sustainably managed forests. From the raw material through to the ready-for-use end product, the entire production process is certified, transparent and checked by independent experts. Further series – the 600, 600 N-S and 700 – will also soon acquire PEFC certification. STABILA has been producing folding rules with their patented spring-loaded joint since 1889. Today, the products comply with the Measuring Instruments Directive, which applies throughout Europe, and have the CE and metrology marking as well as EC Type Examination Certificates.
In addition to switching to PEFC-certified materials, the series 400 has been equipped with an integrated angle schema, and the series 700 is set to follow suit too. The schemas enable frequently used angles to be created and transferred quickly on the building site (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 105° and 120°).
